G1 Climax 2009 Final Match
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Togi Makabe

Fun but not great. This match is in three parts, first we have some mat wrestling where Makabe surprisingly hang with Nakamura, then Shinskay beating down Makabe who's absorbing punishment leading up to an Hogan-esque comeback, then the sport entertainer working over the arm and the final comeback. Better selling would have made a difference. I liked it but you'd expect a little more from a G1 final.

Manabu Nakanishi vs. Yoshihiro Takayama

The first half of the match is a strike exchange that make you want to watch a kaiju movie. Nakanishi selling is goofy. For a couple of minutes it turns into a submission battle and it's awesome. And the finish is such a cool move. So yeah, that was good.
